17 Point Tune-Up


Adjust draft stabilizer and test controls; change oil filter cartridge, air filters; check and flush low water cut-off; drain & recushion expansion tank; clean gauge glass, pump strainers, smoke pipe, electrodes, burner fan, heat exchanger, combustion chamber; inspect oil lines, lubricate burner, blower, circulation motors; seal air leaks; set proper firing rate, replace nozzle. Test and record Annual Efficiency Rating.


Prevent oil run-outs


With our degree-day tracking program every customer's K Factor (delivery date, usage history, outside temperature, etc.) is used to determine the date of your next delivery. Ultimately, monitoring an adequate fuel inventory is the homeowner's responsibility, but if an Automatic Delivery customer ever does run out of oil we will promptly prime and restart your burner at no charge and credit your account $25.

24 hours a day staffed service coverage means all calls are responded to


Scott Energy has the highest ratio of technician to customers in our service area. Our licensed technicians are on call 24-hours a day, 365 days a year. If we do not respond to a service call on the scheduled time and day without contacting you, you get a $20 credit certificate.

On time


For Emergency Calls we strive to respond within 2 hours anytime day or night. For regularly scheduled tune-ups we guarantee we will be no more than one hour behind schedule without someone notifying you or you will receive a $10 account credit.

We fix it right the first time


If you require heating system repair service we will fix the problem correctly in one appointment. If we fall short of that, there will be no labor charge for the call back appointment for the same problem.

Quality brand name parts


We install the highest quality parts and equipment that have been thoroughly tested for performance and longevity. We have built loyal working relationships with suppliers.

Technicians are in-house employees


Some oil delivery "companies" hire freelance subcontractors to work on your heating system. At Scott Energy all of our licensed technicians are members of our staff who are trained in both technical skills and our very high standards for customer satisfaction.

Comprehensive parts inventory


All service vans are stocked with a comprehensive parts inventory that allows our technicians to fix most problems right when they get to your home, avoiding unnecessary delays or callbacks.
